Missionary, Gospel music singer and Instrumentalist Fada VIT comes out with the single “Kuyak Mfre Abasi”.

The single is rendered in the Efik dialect of the South South of Nigeria. The title “Kuyak Mfre Abasi” translates ‘May I never forget God’. It is a prayer, as well as a declaration saying come what may happen, God remains supreme and the source of life.

The instrumentation, beautifully crafted by the dexterity of Wilson Joel (Music Magnate), it is very contemporary, but has elements of folk music such as the twin gong, ekwe, the flute and even clap. It is sung in a sing-along style so as to allow participation.

Fada VIT is a missionary who is passionate about music. He is also a multi-instrumentalist who plays the guitar, piano and saxophone.

Christian Hip-Hop Artist Rafael was born as Bryan Cabrera. He was raised in a single-family home with his mother and younger brother. He was born in Los Angeles, California and later relocated to Dallas, Texas. Growing up, Rafael always felt something missing in his heart. Mostly due to his father being absent from his life. It was the foundation of Rafael’s major depression. Rafael felt incomplete and the longing to know his father hunted him. Almost on a daily basis, he could not find peace in his life. Eventually, he started working out at the gym as a coping mechanism. It helped him regain a little peace. However, when he met Pastor Randy Jones he was told that Jesus loves him.

Pastor Randy encouraged Rafael and informed him that he has a purpose in life. Since then, Rafael’s life changed tremendously. Pastor Randy taught him how to allow God to become the father he never knew. He quoted Psalms 89:26 and stated: “you are my father my God and the rock of my salvation”.

He says, “I wanted people to see that just as easily as you would send a DM (direct message) to one of your family members or friends…that’s how easy it is to communicate with God. A lot of people think that God is this unreachable, unloving, cold-hearted, distant being who doesn’t give a crap about what we’re going through in life. But Psalm 145 tells us that the Lord is near to those who call on him. That means He’s with us, He’s with you, and He does care.”

Equation1 is a Nigerian contemporary gospel music duo composed of siblings Ikechukwu David Ugwu and Ukamaka Faith Ugwu, popularly known as Iyke David and Ukay.

Iyke David and Ukay have made their mark in the gospel music scene as music ministers and recording artistes who perform at church and corporate events.

In 2012, the duo formed a gospel music group called Genesis and released their debut single, “Chukwu Idi Nma”, a high-life praise groove.

They rebranded in 2017 and changed their name to Equation1. They released their 2nd single in July 2018 titled “Winner”, an Afro-pop music piece which showcases their remarkable talent, passion and flexibility to create music across different genre and still maintain their strong gospel sound.

Leading up to his August 10th Hello Jesus project release, GodFrame revealed a new album trailer on his YouTube channel today.

The video features GodFrame alone in an empty field, carrying what appears to be a ball of fire that has been ripped from his own chest. He explains, “The song in the video is called Castle Makers – and the whole premise is centered around idolatry.

The lyrics were born of my frustration with people (including myself) bragging about how amazing their jobs, opportunities, vacations, gifts/talents, churches, and pastors were – while rarely giving God praise. This is a pretty common thing on social media. And it’s a very dangerous thing when we begin to worship the stuff we can touch with our hands more than we worship our God. The Lord is clear about this in Exodus 20:3 when He says, “Thou shalt have no others gods before me.”

I hope this song reminds believers that the things on this earth are only temporary. Everything we possess will one day turn to dust. Our hope shouldn’t be in people, places, or things. Our hope should be in Christ Jesus and the promise that He will return one day and make all things (new heaven + new earth) brand new again.”
